Helping Organisations and Individuals in the City of Lichfield
The Mayor presented the trophy to the Club President, Fred Perry.
The annual Swinfen Broun Challenge Trophy bowls match between the Lichfield City Council team against the Lichfield Museum Bowling Club, was held on Wednesday 28 June 2023.
An enjoyable evening was had by all with the Bowling Club taking the trophy once again with a score of 107 to 54. The challenge match has been played since 1924, with the trophy donated by Colonel Swinfen Broun in 1926.

The Trust has for a number of years made grants to Lichfield Arts to help them to stage the Fuse Festival in Beacon Park, the Blues and Jazz Festival and the Festival of Folk
The Trust has been extremely supportive of the development of the The Hub at St Mary’s which now incorporates the Lichfield Heritage Centre.
The Trust has been pleased to support the important work of St Giles for a number of years and made a number of grants to the hospice.
